Facelift has been a staple in facial plastics since the advent of the procedure in modern medicine. The antiaging surgery is beneficial to patients who seek to remove sagging skin of the face and neck, and tighten the underlying tissues to restore youth, and prolong the need for future corrections. In some cases, patients may benefit from a less invasive treatment plan, which can be provided by an InMode RF (radiofrequency) Nonsurgical Facelift. InMode has patented several nonsurgical devices that treat the skin and underlying tissues. In facial plastics, the FaceTite, NeckTite and Fractora procedures and their namesake applicators are FDA-approved for use in the United States. During a nonsurgical facelift, penetrating heat delivers near-surgical results with minimal downtime and minimal discomfort.
Patients are in expert hands when they visit Masri Clinic for Laser and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Haitham Masri is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. Masri Clinic proudly has two locations in Birmingham and Dearborn for patient convenience.
FaceTite and NeckTite
Both FaceTite and NeckTite are RFAL (radio frequency-assisted lipocoagulation/liposuction) treatments performed with InMode handpiece during Nonsurgical Facelift and Nonsurgical Necklift. A simultaneous internal and external heat treatment shrinks underlying fat and tightens the skin. During NeckTite, adipose tissue may also be permanently suctioned from the neck to reduce excess tissue build-up in the area.
The doctor may begin by marking treatment areas, and administering a local anesthetic to provide numbing for the patient’s comfort. A hidden mini incision provides the cannula access to the subdermal fat. Due to the cannula’s length, there will likely only be a few entrance sites. The internal electrode ranges in temperature from 122-158 degrees Fahrenheit and the external electrode between 95-107 degrees Fahrenheit. These heat settings were based off scientific evidence of the heat required to coagulate underlying fat and contract the skin without causing damage to surrounding tissues.
FaceTite and NeckTite are performed with an intuitive instrument that have unique, built-in safety controls not featured in devices of the past. The temperatures remain in a safe and effective range, and when the device loses contact with the tissue, it will not create an output of heat. These dual controls work to minimize the potential for heat damage.
The fat-targeted heat will cause the fat to shrink, creating a tightening process from within. After a FaceTite or NeckTite procedure, the area will appear instantly improved (some patients may notice a delay of up to three days), though it can take one to two months for the end results to appear. During the treatment, collagen production is stimulated and will continually provide long term improvements. The doctor may recommend one or multiple treatments, depending on the individual’s aesthetic concerns.
While FaceTite is most effective in the cheeks, brow, and chin area, NeckTite is concentrated to the jawline, under the chin, and the neck. The latter procedure, as previously stated, provides the added benefit of fat removal. Due to skin laxity or weight fluctuations, fat pockets can distort the natural structural lines of the lower face and neck, and detract from one’s overall appearance.
Prospective patients best suited for a Nonsurgical Facelift seek improvement to the look of the face and neck that can be achieved through less invasive methods. Once approved for the treatment, most patients seek to reduce the appearances of fine lines and wrinkles, tighten skin laxity, and restore youth to the face and neck.
In past antiaging procedures, patients with darker skin tones were at risk for scarring and hyperpigmentation in certain areas. When a Nonsurgical Facelift is performed through FaceTite or Fractora, or a Neck Lift is completed with NeckTite, the radiofrequency energy that is directed below the skin is safe for all complexions. On the contrary, these procedures can improve the skin’s pigmentation.
Benefits of these Procedures
Nonsurgical Facelift treatments can be performed as a standalone solution to combat aging, or combined with facial plastic surgeries and other procedures. Areas that require additional treatment can be targeted through Forehead Lift, Upper or Lower (eyelid surgery), Neck Lift Surgery and Cheek or Chin Implants. Patients can also enjoy the effects of dermal fillers, like Juvederm or Radiesse. Injections will provide semi-permanent results that can enhance features of the face.
Both women and men are encouraged to explore the Nonsurgical Facelift performed by the InMode devices as it can provide pleasing aesthetic results that improve both feminine and masculine looks. Those seeking to upgrade their looks due to age, weight fluctuations, or genetics can undergo this minimally invasive procedure to enhance their appearance. Nonsurgical Facelift is completely customizable, relatively inexpensive when compared to other more invasive surgeries, and effective at improving facial aesthetics. Facelift surgery may not be the best treatment options for patients who seek a wider variety of treatment options, or those who may not wish to undergo a surgery. Other patients may not qualify medically for more invasive techniques or a stronger form of sedation.
How long is the procedure?
Depending on the complexity of the procedure, time may vary between 1-3 hours.
Where is the procedure performed?
The procedure is performed in the privacy of the state approved Advanced Surgery Center.
How long will the results last?
The aesthetic outcome can vary greatly from one patient to the next. A patient will continue to age with time, and the effectiveness of the treatment may increase with additional sessions. Typically, patients seeking moderate improvements with a standalone radiofrequency procedure will appear 10 years younger following a session at Masri Clinic. One’s looks can be enhanced through additional procedures, and a proactive approach to the signs of aging.
