Meet our Doctor

Dr. Haitham Masri has been in practice for 25 years. During that time he has had many professional accomplishments including board certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOto), the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS), as well as the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. In fact, he is the first in the nation to be Board Certified in all three of these specialties.

Our Michigan cosmetic surgeon is also Michigan's very first specialist trained in the external rhinoplasty technique. Dr. Masri has over 25 years of experience and his training in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery is extensive. Dr. Masri's patients often remark upon the sensitivity he shows toward their medical concerns. Many of his patients feel that he is very easygoing, someone they can relate to. Rhinoplasty Information

Dr. Masri is an expert rhinoplasty surgeon who uses this procedure, more commonly known as "nose surgery," to improve upon nasal size, shape, symmetry, and functions. During surgery, he performs the following steps:

• An incision is usually made within the nose
• Excess bone and cartillege are removed
• The nose is reshaped

As a result, the facial profile may be enhanced, along with the ability to breathe better. The final outcome of the surgery may not be visible for up to a year after surgery, but after swelling subsides, patients can immediately notice a difference.
